OUR PROACTIVE APPROACH
Working with Neighbours
Over the past 20 years of developing wind projects in Ireland, we fully understand the needs of Irish communities. Our projects are embedded in the local communities where our projects are located. This offshore wind development will be in a region where marine users including fishermen / women are currently operating. Survey licences will be required as part of the Manannán project development and planning application process. We want to communicate directly with fishermen/women in the area.
Understanding that the transition to net zero must be fair, we will take a proactive approach and work with our neighbours to ensure we hear all concerns. Our aim is to minimise any effects on fisheries and mariners and maximise the benefits available to stakeholders in proximity to the project.
INFORMATION
Keeping up to date
Every effort will be made to meet with stakeholders individually. We will post information about our project on this website. If you want to be kept up to date or require any further information, please contact us
We welcome the opportunity to build relationships with marine users, particularly with the fisheries/seafood industry. We will be holding face to face meetings and we will carry out public consultation.
